Wow, here it is, the new design of the Olympic Stadium for the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games.
As this project will be underway in early 2008, hopefully we will see some of the supply chain opportunities for lower tier contractors and sub-contractors arising from this 80,000 seater stadium. |

All Eyes were on Birmingham as the city hosted The European Athletics Indoor Championships
More than 600 athletes from around 50 countries competed. The event was expected to boost the local economy to the tune of £3.5 million. Being the most significant athletics event to be staged in the UK before the London 2012 Olympics, the eyes of the world were definitely watching!
