Why Your Company should be Competency Profiled
WMCCM provides a competence profiling service for Companies within the UK. This used to be a free service but as our EU funding for this has now ended, we make a charge of £250 for the service. Over 400 companies have been competence profiles. WMCCM will capture your unique ‘Skills and Capabilities’ i.e. what you CAN do as well as what you do now, and make that available to potential partners to help address opportunities in new high growth markets
Focused searches for skills & capabilities among other regional SMEs can be easily performed giving you the tools to form virtual teams and partnerships to address, undertake and sustain new business.
Collaborate and communicate with your partners and customers using the free, secure on-line project spaces. These can be used to create virtual filing cabinets for projects with partners, customers & suppliers that are accessible from the internet.
Join, or create communities of interest (clusters) to explore business and technical issues relevant to your company. An example is the 42v Automotive community funded by Accelerate.
Many other tools and functions such as online catalogues, auctions, and bazaars are also available to profiled companies. For more information on the West Midlands Collaboratice Commerce Marketplace see the Introduction page.
