Designed for the Los Angeles Immigration Control at the Mexical Border in 1974, this Pocket Tire Deflator is designed to prevent ‘Drive Offs’ during Vehicle ‘Stop’ n’ Search. The Tire Deflator is placed under the tire of the vehicle, in the open position, until vehicle inspection is completed, when the Tire Deflator can be easily withdrawn by the pull cord attached.

Robustly constructed in Aluminium Alloy with fitted piano hinges for durability and faultless operation the Tire Deflator opens like a book to reveal 4 tire deflators positioned down the spine. The Tire Deflators will puncture tires in the weight frame of a Mini to a 40 ton truck. A convenient flap over section retains the Deflator when not in use.

This equipment is built to give continuous service. Providing stability it is not pushed over by an advancing wheel.
