Key processes:
|
|
Key Process: Wireless Networking Leased line: Set up of point-to-point / point-to-multipoint wireless broadband links (which are WIMAX compatible) between offices that can be upto 40km apart. Symmetrical bandwidth from 54Mps to 300Mps. Using the 5.8 GHz band these systems are ideal to link remote offices, replacing usually expensive leased line rental. (Mastery: Mature, Time In Operation: 6.00 years)
Key Process: Site Survey Service,Wireless Networking Surveying: Feasibility studies into how WiFi can be incorporated into a building to meet performance and security objectives. Reporting involves the number and locations of access points for optimal coverage of both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Also verifying WiFi radiation levels and identifying any interference (from both WiFi and non-WiFi devices). (Mastery: Mature, Time In Operation: 6.00 years)
Key Process: Training & Education,Wireless Networking Training: Provide technical wireless training with hands-on experience of the latest WiFi & WiMAX survey tools and spectrum analysers. The courses are aimed at ICT technicians. They are in association with other organisations including Coventry University and are equivalent to NVQ Level 3. Course includes WiFi radiation safety, security, troubleshooting connection problems, network design etc. (Mastery: Mature, Time In Operation: 1.00 year)
Key Process: Wireless Networking Wi-fi zones: Setup of WiFi hotspots so our customers can provide WiFi to their clients. For example we can enable a hotel to provide WiFi to its guests, this would be an added value for the guests while generating additional revenue for the hotel. This type of solution could range from single hotspot to major exhibition site Wi-Fi zones. (Mastery: Mature, Time In Operation: 6.00 years)
Key Process: Installation,Wireless Networking Installation: As well as carrying out the site surveys for WiFi feasibility – we are able to install the wireless LAN solutions. Providing reliable, rugged and secure wireless communication solutions suitable for a wide range of environments. (Mastery: Mature, Time In Operation: 6.00 years)
Key Process: Internet Services,Wireless Networking WIMAX: High Speed Broadband Internet Access, up to 70Mbps over 30 miles. WIMAX can be deployed in urban areas where non-line-of-sight working is feasible (although range is reduced). WIMAX can also be deployed to provide access to rural and remote communities where other technologies are not economic (e.g. satellite). (Mastery: Mature, Time In Operation: 1.50 years)
Key Process: Internet Services,Wireless Networking MESH: Mesh Networks provide blanket wireless broadband coverage for community access across specific sites where there are limited options for broadband backhaul links to the wider internet. These solutions use WiFi dual radio (802.11abg) WiFi equipment to create resilient, scalable and self-configuring networks. Routing of voice traffic using VOIP applications possible. (Mastery: Mature, Time In Operation: 1.50 years)
